Condolence From: Veteran of Foreign Wars of The Unites States
Condolence: One by one, as the years roll on, we are called upon to fulfill these sad duties of respect to our departed comrade. The present, full of the cares that beset all nations whether engaged in war or peace, fades away as we look back on the day this comrade left his home to defend his country. Imbued by a spirit of devotion and inspired by an undying love of his native land, he gladly went forth and joined with comrades both young and old to preserve our heritage of freedom

Condolence: My heart is aching for your loss.

Uncle Norman was such a gentle man … and a gentleman. His quiet manner, his kindness and generosity combined with those laughing eyes always filled me with a warmth and happiness. I am saddened he is gone but so thankful he was a part of my life. His memory will be carried forever in my heart. What a beautiful life he lived … and shared with everyone. He was an example to us all.

My deep love to Aunt Delie, and to all the family …

Condolence: Uncle Norman, you were a quiet, kind and gentle soul. I will never forget how you used to give your testimony in church. Always, as part of your testimony, you would say how thankful you were for your wife and the York family (her family) because that's how you came to know Christ as your Lord and Savior and you would get tears in your eyes every single time. Your faith has now "become sight" and you are with your Lord. How happy you must be! Love and prayers to Aunt Dellie and the rest of the family.
